The screw impeller is an axial‑flow impeller. One or more evenly spaced helical stainless steel ribbons are arranged around the shaft, rising in a spiral pattern. The material is lifted along the screw spiral and effectively divided, thereby achieving mixing and dispersion. When a draft tube is installed, the impeller forces the material to circulate between the inside and outside of the draft tube. It is suitable for processes such as mixing and heat transfer involving high‑viscosity media.
